We arrived safely at Little Canada after a smooth ferry crossing and are already enjoying PGL life. Our bags are 'unpacked' , a delicious meal eaten, the site explored, games played and we are now taking part in 'Wacky Races'. Hopefully we will sleep well tonight.

After a little sleep, we woke to the sound of the fog horn, which soon cleared to blue skies and sunshine, a perfect backdrop to our activities. After a 7:45am breakfast we started our first activities - orienteering, the giant swing and abseiling. Many of us achieved our own personal goals through perseverance, resilience and supporting each other. We are enjoying watching and encouraging each other to do the best we can.

Our lunch was pasta with bolognaise or tomato sauce and garlic bread. We could also have pizza, different varieties of salad, coleslaw etc, pitta bread, bread rolls, leek and potato soup and some fruit. There is plenty of choice for everyone.

Some of us have been creating animations this afternoon based on the school's 'Superhero Learning Powers' which has been great fun.

This evening we are looking forward to the campfire and the entertainment that that will bring.

We walked along the coastal path to see The Needles, a famous Isle of Wight landmark of tall towering points of chalk protruding from the sea. In addition to this we were fortunate to see glass being blown and sweets being made. It was fascinating.

Following our visit, we made our way back to the PGL site where we played some games and wrote our diary entries before playing Ambush, a version of large group hiding seek, this evening.

It has been great to have another dry day albeit a little dull at times. We are having a great time although a few technical issues with posting pictures today!

Another exciting day in Little Canada, today some of us climbed Jacob's ladder and the climbing wall while others created films in PGL TV.

This afternoon we visited Brading Roman Villa where we created our own mosaic tiles, did an archeological dig and had a guided tour of the villa.

The day finished with a disco. An exciting time was had by all!
